Alyssa Hammock enters her first season as an assistant ATC with the Battling Bishops. She came to Rocky Mount in the summer of 2019.
Hammock received her Master of Arts in Exercise and Sport Science from UNC-Chapel Hill in May of 2019.
Hammock then graduated from UNC-Wilmington in 2017 with a B.A. in Athletic Training while making the Dean's List all four years. She was also the Outstanding athletic training student in 2016.
While at Chapel Hill, Hammock worked with women's field hockey and rowing as a Grad Assistant ATC. She also was a G.A. with the club and intramural sports programs at UNC as well. She has experience working with the USA Baseball 16U National team as well as the USA Field Hockey U17, U19, and U21 Junior High Performance training coverage.
She has been an approved Clinical Instructor at the UNC Undergrad at Education Program since 2018.
A Certified Athletic Trainer, Hammock is a member of the National and North Carolina Athletic Trainers Association and owns both First Aid and CPR/AED certifications. She is also mental health certified and pharmacist-directed Epipen trained.
